Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose

These general terms and conditions govern the use of the mytaxadvisor.ch website as well as the services provided by MyTaxAdvisor, a digital fiduciary specialized in tax declarations in French-speaking Switzerland.

2. Services

MyTaxAdvisor offers tax advisory and tax return preparation services for individuals. Services include: tax return preparation, deduction optimization, withholding tax advisory (TOU), cross-border taxation and pension planning.

The exact scope of services is defined in the quote or mandate accepted by the client. Any additional services will be subject to an amendment or new quote.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are communicated to the client prior to any service in the form of a quote. A deposit may be required before work begins. The balance is payable upon receipt of the invoice, within 30 days.

4. Client Obligations

The client agrees to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information
  • Submit necessary documents within agreed deadlines
  • Review and validate the tax return before submission
  • Pay invoices within the specified deadlines

5. Confidentiality

MyTaxAdvisor commits to treating all information provided by the client with the strictest confidentiality. Tax and personal data are protected in accordance with our privacy policy and current Swiss legislation.

6. Liability

MyTaxAdvisor commits to performing its services with diligence and professionalism. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees received for the service concerned. MyTaxAdvisor shall not be held liable for consequences resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.

7. Termination

The client may terminate the mandate at any time in writing. Services already performed will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis. MyTaxAdvisor reserves the right to terminate the mandate in case of non-compliance with client obligations, particularly non-payment or provision of manifestly false information.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva.
